When players get to the temple, they activate Ex Libris.
Activation of the artifact awakens the Guardian - the boss of the game. This huge creature, captured by the forces of the dominion hundreds of years ago - he is chained to the wall, and to free himself, rips off his limbs.
When the artifact flies into the chest of the Guardian, it enters the second phase - it grows his head and limbs, and begins to attack the players.
